Experiential training
Mutual Discipleship
A six-week guided apprenticeship in “mutual discipleship” as the most basic relationship of communities of faith and the multiplication of the gospel. We ask people to prayerfully consider a one time gift, but nothing is required.
gospel teams
A monthly virtual team of those ready to lead themselves and serve the their church family with the simple rhythms of listening to people’s hearts, listening to God’s heart, and prayer-driven mission. Each month there is a biblical reflection relating to maturity, community, or mission. We ask people to prayerfully commit to a monthly gift to support the facilitator.
SATURATE Cohorts
Paul leads Saturate Coaching Communities that are uniquely designed learning environments using a combination of video, online community discussion, and individualized action steps.

Individualized engagements
COACHING ordinary people who want to be faithful with the gospel influence that has been entrusted to them. We will develop critical growth initiatives in your leadership, professional, or personal life. We’ll implement strategies to achieve those goals in a specific amount of time. Coaching is provided within the framework of the ICF Coaching Code of Ethics.
CONSULTING with leaders to align the Spirit inspired vision with organizational structure and biblical principles. We will diagnose the current opportunities and challenges with proven techniques and tools to propose a clear path forward.
SPIRITUAL DIRECTION intends to foster deeper awareness of your heart and God’s heart for you. You will meet with a trained listener with one ear attentive to your story and another to the Holy Spirit who is intertwined in your story.

Vision into Practical Steps
Coaching with Ryan has helped me pull back from the tyranny of the urgent and see the big picture of where God wants to take our church. Ryan’s experience and coaching style are a powerful combination in helping leaders turn their vision/big goals into practical steps to implement and work toward. Working with Gospel Training has been an incredible benefit to me as a pastor and our church as a whole!

Sharpen the Ax
I have dubbed 2021 the “Year of Self Leadership.” For too many people 2020 happened “to” them. It is time to start building, or re-building, our lives under the current normal. For me, it began with some simple micro habits this year around healthy eating and reading for 10 minutes in the morning nearly daily.
Simple Beginnings
This week a new friend asked me about how we conduct our churches. Getting asked about our forms of churches is very natural, and it is a wonderful invitation to quickly tell the story of our journey.
Personal Pivot
Very few organizations get it right the first time. Some of best companies needed to change to find the right customer, value proposition, and positioning. Why don’t you do the same: pivot the direction of your life to achieve greater success.
Trained by Grace
I have been spending some time in Titus lately. I am pleasantly surprised by what I have found there. I am encouraged by Paul’s straightforward expression of the transforming reality of God’s grace and gospel in Jesus.

We moved to Vancouver, WA in 2019 in collaboration with A Church Network Family and the SEND Network to start a new hub of simple churches in the Portland Metro Area. Our network has simple churches in San Jose, CA and Des Moines, IA.
